Oops.
As a young company we’re still trying to figure out and perfect our processes.
It wasn’t until after we distributed nearly 2,000 of the Composite Era’s to disc golf retailers throughout the country that we realized the stock stamp has a typo.
The font used for our 9’s and 5’s looks very similar. While the flight of Composite plastic gives it a little more overstable flight than Forged, it is still a speed 9 driver — not a speed 5.
We will do better next time and make sure we proofread the stamp artwork before having the plate made.
There are less than 2000 discs with the typo stamp. Perhaps this will make this edition a collectors item in the future.
The retail release of the Composite Era is this Thursday. After you try it out, let us know what you think the flight numbers should be so we can get the rest of the discs in this run stamped correctly.
